im stoked this truck didnt get tossed aside. the rear looks great! i love how symetrical it is. cant wait to see the camera phone pics from the first trip out to stop and get gas. i love gas station pics you know everyone has some.

Coming along nicely man. How are you gonna do your bed floor?

Going to sheetmetal some of it, put some wheel tubs in so rocks don't hit the back glass. Not going to get to crazy because I don't want it to cover all the tub work. Mainly just to give the bed it's strength back and look decent. But I gotta get the rear end narrowed. So I will be rolling bedless for a month or so.

So after almost a month of the truck getting worked on, I finally broke down and took some pics lol.

Everything almost done on the rear everything functions like it should. But the paint combo isn't permanent. We will see.




Upper and lower arm, Maxed the fuck out. Need a smaller tire, but no rubber bands. Still going to shim it out with 1 more washer.


Battery mount, may end up running another one on the exact opposite side. Clears the tires and stock fan lock to lock.

that camber is sexy

Nothing but a pain in the ass. Needs tubular lowers for sure. The truck starts on it's own, cranks over fine. Think the starter needs to be shimmed though. Going to get 2 brake lines for the rear tomorrow then it's ready to be bled out. Install the driveshaft, gotta figure out why 2 of the c clips don't wanna go on. Drive it up and down the street and drag the dog shit out of it.

Drive shaft tunnel done : alvey and me lol. Carpet in, really need to let it sit outside on a VERY hot sunny day. They said it would fit a 1979-1984 mazda b2000 but there's no way.

Everything wired up

All that's left is getting the new alternator and getting my drive shaft on monday. Probably rolling bed less if all goes well for this weekend, not trying to burn through bed sides.

So low and behold by the end of the week I should be driving this beast. First time in almost 4 years.

I just keep forgetting to update it, so I copy and paste everything from 1 forum to another. Got the new alternator on today, run's a lot smoother. Drive shaft should be done this thursday, then it's just put new rear seal in and put fluid in the trans.
