How does the steering fitting from the steering box to the fire wall is it fine or do you need to work on that too.

a question I had about driveshaft...

anyone have any idea what should be done?
speedster93b   +1y
it's normal for the rear axle to move foreward and backward during suspension travel. that's why your driveline has a slip yolk at the front. the longer the link bars are the less foreward and backward motion you have thru the same suspension travel.
showdownmerch   +1y
That's what I thought man. But what if you have a solid bolted down steady bearing?
speedster93b   +1y
i've never actually looked at or thought about one with a 2 piece driveline. mine's got a 2 piece... hmm. maybe you can go to a one piece and just be sure the driveline won't hit the back of your cab.

That's the problem. The frame and cab were designed for a 2 piece and if we have to switch to 1 the crosmemeber will have to be notched for clearance.
