It is 17.5 inches with the cab and longbox. That pink truck looks about right but no 4x4 fenders.

Right now we are done the frame we are just shaving everything.

That is so sweet that it is that long can't wait to see it all together. I just started working on my mazda again and hope by the end of the week that the 4 link might actually get finished but I figure the phone will ring and I will have to work on someone elses toy.

Thanks man. no doubt things always jump up and nothing gets done but the 4 link was one of the more simple things to do.

Well I find that every time I get some time to work on my toys I always get interupted and it's not like I can tell them to take off and come back in 2 weeks I like working on other peoples rides I just got to make time for myself but some day I will have both my rides done, in 6 weeks I turn 36 and I figure by the time I'm 40 I will have one of them done.hahahahaha

Dude, that is going to be one awsome ride man. I'm still not sure if I want to do it, but everytime I look at this thread i'm tempted to grab my dad's truck and get rockin with lance . Keep postin pics, it makes all the guys horny .

I guess that's one good thing about having no friends with mini trucks....no other truck to work on but it stinks not having any mazdawg buds.

Today we made some good progress on body work. all the shaving is to the bondo and the hood cowel is pretty much done. I'll finally post some pics tomorrow night. Onlt 3 weeks till the first show around here

hey bro, take some "in progress" pics of the body work, I always enjoy that part.
The first cowl I shaved , I had it off of the truck and when I cut the grill ribbing out and welded in smooth panels, it lost its shape, (slight curve that follws the hood lines) so the best way to do that is on the truck. I find anyways.

thanks for the tips man. I'm going to take some bodywork pics tonight. The cowel seems to be fitting well but we always had a 2x2 block of wood in the middle so we didn'y apply any pressure
