theres nothing wrong with the 50/50 link if its done right, and it is, we made sure of that, mine in my truck is done wrong, but me and chris at SLC went over it to make sure it was going to work right, i checked the pinion angle change and it moves no more then 2 degrees the most, i dont see the ride can be that much worse if the upper bars are flipped the other way, IMO its just fine and when its done we will show u

You helping him bag this Mike?

I'm not saying it won't work. Reverse 4-links "work." But neither setup exerts force onto the frame in the proper way that it should to achieve a good suspension setup.

yes i am helping him alot along with another friend matt, and we are also bagging an s10 on 20"s which is almost done, just need to finish installing the blazer tank and do the fuel and brake link, and cut the box, then after that is on to my truck, which probably wont be done this year

Hey mikey you for got that my truck comes first bro. lol

seth, i can see where your comming from, but all the 50/50 link that have been done around here that were done by SLChave never had a problem, theres an s10 that has had his done for 9 years and not a single problem there are also a few maz's and others too, all the parts came from brislands in B.C. the link bars were built to run 50/50, and my 4link was from the same place but installed wrong, lets just say its upside down, it wasnt untill two years ago that i found this out, its still working fine but lets just say it doesnt like big bumps, if i knew how to install my shit 6 years ago, i would've done it, but now im stuck with it untill i have to change it up, keep checking for updates

I understand. And I'm not saying ti won't work. I'm just saying that its going against the laws of proper suspension geometry. Like I said, reverse 4-links work too, hell a reverse 2 link would work. Its just applying forces where they are not meant to be applied. And its very difficult to properly set up your roll center and anti-squat characteristics in a 50/50 or reverse setup.

Theres a huge difference in driving a truck with a 4-link, and riving a truck with a properly designed 4-link. And you really don't know it until you drive one. Its awesome to get in a truck and stab the gas pedal without the rear end dipping at all, or lifting during acceleration. And in no way am I talkign shit, I'm just stating my opinion. Because at this point in the build it would be pretty easy to change things.

i know what your saying seth, i would perfer to have all the link bars forward too, but that wasnt going to happen, with the rear end sinking and lift when u put it to the rug most likely wont happen, that kinda shit happens when your running more HP then a whopping 86, thats why race cars run all forward bars, but when you have a gutless truck it wont effect it, thats the way i see it and was told, we'll have to see when its done

With 86 HP you will still get rear end dive. My truck does it if I drive too low, because the geometry is not good at all heights on my truck (live and learn). If I drive 3" off the ground it launches solid, but if I drive 2" off the ground it dips a good inch in the rear. You feel it when you let the clutch out. If its an auto it might not be so bad. Also with a stock clutch it might not be too bad either.
