the batt may be good but if you have loose terminals or a loose ground it could arc across the gap with the load of trying to start the truck and kill everything because the arc makes a dirty spot that the electricity is trying to go through. Mine did the same thing and I had to clean the batt clamps and the ground cable all the way from the batt to the fender to the block. After that it worled fine. Hope this might help.

Check the ground for your battery. Sorry I got in on the last page here. By the way whats up marcus? How you been? I think you have developed a short somewhere and have to track it down. Does your ignition have alot of play or is hard to turn?

Get a digital multimeter and check the coil with the ignition in the "ON" position then have someone crank the engine. If you don't get anything at the coil Work back towards the ignition and find the short. Shorts are weird and can cause all different types of problems depending on the climate and how severe the short is. If no short is present check the ignition switch and replace if needed.

Well I have new terminals, So them being dirty isnt it, I am wondering about this ignition switch, Cuz its acting up in some seriously strange ways, A short on the ignition would first certainly pop the "main" fuse, Which has happened before when a short was present, I replaced that wire, And also replaced the originial "80 amp" fuse with a now smaller "60 amp" fuse, just in case, I dont like fried wires lol, So smaller for me is better cuz it will take less to pop. And for that switch, do you have paypal?

Ya, dude, its your Ign. switch, all you need is JUST the switch. Its the white part of the key cylinder assembly that has all the wires running down the column. The contacts are worn down and need replaced.
