I put on a brand new coil, brand new cap and brand new rotor, brand new wires, and I had the original NGK plugs in it that are cleaned up. I have a brand new set of NGKs, but I am waiting to solve the issue first so I don't fowl them up.

originally you had a msd blaster coil in it correct.. now it is a factory one?...try settin the plugs back to factory gap..its the oppostie of what one would natruly think to do in this situatin but there arnt many variables .. im kinda dumbfound by this one..have you let the car get to normal opperating temp..does it still do it?...what kind of cold start system does it run?

if your gap is too big on the plugs, maybe your blowing out the spark?

I have a brand new Blaster in it. The old one was about 6-8 years old.

I have tried plugs in it gapped to .035, and gapped to .050. There is no difference.

Before I go any further, have you tried checking your float in the carb? I would highly recommend checking to see that it is adjusted right. This is starting to sound like a float problem to me.. I will keep reasearching this dilemma of yours..

EDIT: Meanwhile, check out this page to make sure you do not have these problems. If you feel you have more than one problem, highlight the causes in each section to check off what it most likely could be.

The float is properly adjusted. It is getting plenty of fuel. I am thinking I my have a vacuum leak somewhere.

I think he ment check the float and make sure its not to high. When it gets to high you get pullover and it floods out. Try this you have rubber fuel line to the carb? Take vise grips and pinch it off some...then some more untill it will run right. Then you will know if its a fuel deal. Also take them plugs out clean with brake clean then use a small propane torch to heat/clean them up it will burn all the fouled fuel off.
