Thanks guys. Today I went down to the upholstry shop to check on my seats and door panels...Of course, they haven't even started yet! Friday night I took the truck to them and they said it would be cheaper if I took them out for them. So I jammed home, took the stuff out and went back. They said I could have them on Wednesday. I was curious on how they looked and there they sit, right where I unloaded them at the shop! I wasn't too pleased. The owner said I could have them on Friday. After seeing the carpet without the seats in there I think I need to replace it too. I also jumped on the band wagon and ripped my dash out to repaint it. As always with my projects, I decided to add some stuff "while it is out". I took my switch box apart and decided the switches would look better in the panel on the dash to the left of the steering wheel. I had to fiberglass the weird little change holder flat so that the switches had some place to go. Now I'm thinking of putting three gauges below the A/C controls. (2 dual for bags and one single for tank pressure) I might fab a plate to hold them and then cover all three with a piece of smoked plexiglass.

I decided to take my center console out have the uhpolstry guy put some black leather on it to match the seats he's doing. I had to take it out to get ther rest of the dash painted anyway. I also ordered a new silver carpet kit from ACC. I might have a pimpin' interior to show you guys by the end of next week!

Well all great plans have a way of comming unraveled. This guy still isn't done with my seats! My dash is still all over the garage and my carpet is "on backorder". This weekend I plan to get the dash back in and my switches wired back up, I may just steam clean my carpet and cancel my order. On the good side, in two weeks my truck goes back to Bio Kustoms for the SFBD and Toy front clip. Also my Phatties brake kit should be in!!!

Everything looks good man.

Your interior shop sounds like mine. I was trying to get my bench done for Drop Zone, gave it to the guy 3 weeks ahead of time. Said no problem, 3 days tops. Excuse after excuse, I didn't make it to the show with a new bench, and it took him a total of 7 weeks to do it.

I don't know if I am a pimp or not, but I haven't done anything to this truck in like ten years. When I heard this was gonna be the last Reso, I decided to bring it out of hibernation...and with me one thing leads to another. I really only wanted to get the bags re-done and freshen up the interior. I wound up selling one of my other cars to finance this one and now it is a full rebuild. Since I keep seeing other trucks sell for pennies on the dollar, I don't know if I am lucky or stupid. This truck won't be for sale anyway, but there is a sweet cover truck on SS right now for 8g. I will have 8g in suspension and brakes.
