well, reality is setting in and i don't think the bed will be finished for texmex in march. oh well at least it will be there and it has come a long ways since when i bought it. i still have to get the exhaust redone, hook up the parking brake, then get it inspected. need to send the head and flywheel off and finish welding up the firewall and install the heater. then put the interior back in. and still need to find a spot to mount the battery if i don't get the bed on. my wife is going to louisiana this weekend so i have to watch all 3 of my girls which means one less weekend to work on the truck. but i will keep updating you guys with what i get done when i get it done. right now i am looking for a sand blasting place that can take care of my valve cover and timing chain cover. peace.

did some major ass cleaning in the garage last night and pulled out my probably never daily driver and pulled the 83 in to strip down and get ready for texmex. i got all the valves pulled off and redoing the whole rear section. i am also installing the parking brake to get inspected. here are some pics...

started replumbing the bags. this is way better than how it was setup. and i am not using about 12 of the fittings that the previous guy used to plumb it.
