started on the interior yesterday and was up til 3 this morning.

almost have the brass knuckles completely welded up and smoothed, sucks how 1 minute of welding turns into and hour of grinding. hmmm.

had to make new panels for the wall behind the seats, they will be getting rapped in black vinyl that i have laying around. i still have to make the kick panels and door panels. i will start on the kick panels today.

and finally, i got the seats out that someone installed. i went to install my bench seat and the rear bar hits the driveshaft tunnel. so i driled out the spot welds for the seat mounts and i am raising them up an inch with some 1x1 1/8 inch wall square tubing. i got all the spot welds welded back up and the 1x1 welded the the passenger side seat mount, now i have to do the driver side and get them installed. i still have to make some patches for the big ass holes someone drilled for the other seats.

Lookin good! Always fun havin to improvise a little (seat spacers). And I definately know what you mean about 1 minute of welding = many hours of grinding.

how the hell did you get that piece of trim out without tearing it to shit?
maztang (ryan)   +1y
the one on the wall behind the seats? if that is the one you mean, it tore at the bottom corner but that was it. it was real wrinkled but i was real careful with them. do you need any? i can cut you out both sides if you need them.

got my bench seat installed tonight. i had to raise the mounts and inch to clear the driveshaft tunnel.
