Im thinking after I get my lower dash done. I will start the center console I am debating whether to run a 1-2 8" subs in it I think 1 will be plently. Should I start the center console box all the way at the tox were my trim panel piece is and have it flow all the way down or just start it in about the middle of the back wall piece in between the seats?

I will prolly go ahead and dis assemply my swtchbox and mount my switches in the console also or something.

just a thought on the console, you could run 2-8"s or maybe a single 10" in a bottom or rear firing position so that you could keep the install kind of stealth but also have a place to stick your elbow when cruising, or maybe even a cup holder with out having to worry about damaging the subs. Just make sure to have a couple of inches of clearance for the sub. Like I said just a thought

lookin good man. and that sub idea wounds pretty good to me. thats a really good idea actually. just to damn bad i cant use it cuz i got an ext cab with plenty of room for subs. haha

ive been wondering on tweed if it is very stretchable as far as covering certain parts like a dash. did you have any problems with the transition from the flat part on your dash to the part around the gauge?

just take your time and make sure you cut enough to cover the whole thing. even if you got a couple inches of overhang its no big deal.

Covering it wasnt bad at all just take your time and it will show, as far as my dash theres one tiny ripple on the curve part that I will mess with I just keep forgetting to.

Tweed is easy as hell to work with man, stretches nicely.

how much is tweed per yard anyway?
layedoutb2k (chase)   +1y
about $10 from yourautotrim.com

It was $10 a yard but I been ordering at least 2 yards because of shipping.

So far I have 6 yards total in my interior, it doesn't seem like it but once you start cutting it and doing all the little bullshit it goes quick.

Got 2 tires from a guy on s10forum for dirt cheap. $100 shipped from canada and they still have some of the original nipples that come on the tires when there brand new.

Started wraping the lower part of the dash I have held off on doing this long enough, doesnt look like much progress on it but getting the little shapes and such was the biggest part and thats done.

Got little bit more work done tonight not to much though but it helps.

This is the trim piece that goes up on the dash and houses my defrost vents, I was thinking about doing it in blue but I just couldn't see it flowing together as you can say....

Getting started on it, almost finished actually Im not trying to rush any of these pieces I have been trying to let them sit for about a die to dry out and stick nicely.

This is the closest color blue I could find to match my blue tweed. I will do my other 2 tiny vents as well that go on the corner part of the dash.
