looks good bro. i like that blue. did you spray it with adhesion promotor first?

The color looks great! Should make a nice contrast against the tweed. The glovebox door may need buffing in person, but in the pic it looks perfect. Interesting, that color blue looks pretty close to the same color I am using under the hood on my daughters truck - Ford engine - light blue.

I see you also got another set of windshield vents. Those would look really good candy red

haha thanks man, ya I picked up another set these were in better shape in the middle section so I figured what the hell.

The color is actually, True Blue. I will more than likely take the glove box and ash tray to a body shop to get buffed I dont even wanna attempt to try it and screw it up and start all over lol.

Gonna go finish the pieces up some tonight, I need to quit being lazy and finish the last 2-3 spots on my dash so I can get it back in my truck. Should have update later tonight

well my dad called me while I was at work and he told me if I could take him to the hospital for a outpatient surgery thing so I was kinda worried he wouldn't tell me what it was for so I think it was one of those "man" surgerys so I didnt wanna disrespect him and bug him about it so I did as so and took him and picked him up so I didnt get as much as I wanted done.

Long process, coat after coat, wetsanding, spray, wetsand. I want this baby smooth. but its actually coming out good for some rattle can shit im very impressed.

The dash back in without the key pieces lol, needs to be wiped down but its in.

Its not really that bright, the flash on the camera played a big role in this.

I went ahead and started spraying this for the time being.

Traded my 12 gallon tank for this baby lol, my little 450s were kinda hurt after having them on a 12 gallon. Gonna finish mounting the valves and such tonight on it, I no nothing major but hey might as well get it outta the way while I wait on paint to dry.

I no it doesn't look like much progress blah blah blah just painting some pieces, but I wanna do this right and make it look good so its time consuming and its so hard to get motivated after work at 2-4am in 30 degree weather.

lookin good man cant wait to see the finished truck keep up the work

You are more motivated than me, that is for sure. Looks good!

Really starting to come together - Looks great! The trim around the speedo, the ash tray and the glovebax door painted will make a nice contrast. Question, what about the steering column trim? If it is a 2 piece trim like on the 86-93's it can be difficult to fabric and make the seam look good. Painted would look good. Does your truck have plastic "A" piller trim?

Thanks for the comments everyone, Yes it is a 2 piece I have debated painted it because it will be the most touched piece in my truck which = scratches and such. My truck will be driven alot in the summer but I guess I need to quit being a puss and just do it.

No my truck does not have a pillar trim pieces, factory paint.
