Having some difficulties trying to get the truck to lay frame in the front. We're Z cutting the frame and should have pictures of that soon. Bags should be in in the morning.

Did you try flipping the BJ's? From my previous truck you should easily be able to lay front with out Zing the frame. I only used spindles cause I was tooo lazy to remount the upper bag bracket on mine but if I would have it would have layed.
Oh yeah nice jackstands.

Your not done cutting those brackets off right? Just from what you wrote it sounds like your done cutting.

Whats in the red box needs to be removed.

At the risk of sounding like a dick, I would suggest that you stop working for a bit and do a little research on here by checking out other peoples project threads on what needs to be done to bag the front. It seems that doing this would answer most of your questions, and I would hate to see you cutting something off and making it more of a pain in the ass than it needs to be.

No offence Takin all the input is great....I have spent the last month or so reading and talking to many people about this. I am also learning as i go. I have allready cut the red z right after the pic was takin. With reading all the post i have....there are many diff ways to bag these trucks....so without getting out there and doing it i really couldnt tell wich way i need to go.... If that makes sence. So now i think i have a pretty good idea on the front i will do the uppers in the morning so it will lay out all the way. After cutting the z i have plenty of room to lay out i just need to work over the upper and start setting up the bag plates. Also just to add This truck is for my 15 year old son for when he turns 16. He is out there helping with all the work on the truck and also learning as we go.

I have many years in fabrication in my own shop of my race cars and others Thats why i was not to worried about starting this project and have the ability to finish....plus all the help from this site PRICELESS!!!

Shit. Not even 16, and smarter about trucks than me. Nice progress, keep us posted on pics.

Yea it kinda helps being around race cars since i was like 2. most of it just transfers over to regular cars, and the whole 4 link setup is right up my alley, because thats what my dad runs on his car. Heres another progress pic.
