Sweet, elbine! I figured that if I did it with the shorter bars, triangulating the uppers to the same length as the lowers would make it so the pinion does'nt change. I may be wrong on that but I figured thats how it would work in theory.
I would think that if you installed the bars and they were different lengths it would cause a pinion change. Thats I will be doing the lowers instead cause you cant make the shorter ones longer, lol..
I suppose though, if they do bend, you guys can say, "I told you!"
I just 'am no expert at this and all and there are reputable people on here who I'm sure will have no problem voicing their opinion. Although, I respect it, they are just concerned with safety.
Bag on bars is what I've seen only controversial because of the size bars you use. Technically, I should be scolded for using the bars that have for a leverage setup!
V8! Boyo' buddy, get ready for some PM's from me soon! I will probably need to ask you some things for clarification! Thanks for the comment!
I hope these link end won't seize! Good thing about them is that it has carbon fiber lining in it! We'll see what happens, in due time!
Kirk, all you gotta do is just study! You can bag your truck, just ask questions!
It took me a course of about a year for accumulating my parts! I could have bought it all at once, but I opted to do it this way so I knew what I was getting.
BTW, I ordered my steering/suspension components for my truck and I'll be installing them as I go on this project as well! I'm also thinking of installing my tailgate rollpan skin combo as well! And last but not least, order a new front end for the beast as well!
