I would be willing to build you some link bars. But I am not taking any orders this month.

Of july? BTW, my thinking of the link bars though, does that sound right as to why the bushing split?

lowblownranger, thanks for the comment man! I really appreciate it! Makes me motivated to finish it! But it is reeeally hot outside and I have a hard time in the heat like it is... I hope to see your rig done. Does'nt it have the 2.2 Ford 4 banger with the turbo? My buddy has a 85 thunderbird and has the same engine.

Yes, the end of this month. I'm just too busy. I'm trying to catch up.

I believe the reason your bushing split, is because the bag is offset so far to the side, and the bushing is very narrow. You really need a larger OD bushing thats about 3" wide or so to run it like that. But its still going to put a lot of stress on the bushing, and over time its still going to do the same thing. Just not as fast.

Wow! Hey man, soon enough you'll need to hire someone, haha!

So in order to fix this 100% I need to get the lower bag plat on the bar without it being offset? If thats so, I'm kinda screwed, lol. I'd have to tear out the upper too so I could relocate the bag and still get full drop...

That would in theory solve the stress problem on the bushings right? Just get wider bushing link ends and tabs to accomodate the link ends and she'll be dandy, right?

Well, would you be willing to quote me for link bars? ...and whether or not they come 100% complete? As in whether or not I need to weld on my own brake line tabs, maybe gussets, and lower bag plate, etc.

I can't believe you did that! All that work man... wow! I'll sell you my mazda!

Thanks for the kudos guys. Take it all in as much as you can though, cause I probably wont be getting any updates too soon!

Damn that sucks your having these problems, hope you can get everything worked out. So I guess it won't be at the Visions show?

Also I have these extra brackets, if you think they will help you in any way PM me and we can work something out.

if your going to redo stuff, your bag really should be centered on your link bar... width wise. like those brackets pictured above... that'll help your bushing situation greatly
