you need to cut everything out so that the front will lay out first. you know the bump stop mounts, shock mounts, and notch the lcas. make the truck lay out on the ground and check it. after thats done put the truck back on jackstands. then all you gotta do is put a jack under the lca and jack it up till it almost starts picking the truck up off of the jackstands. then start mocking and tacking your brackets from there. quit measuring 9 times and start doing. your making it harder than it is.

jeez what a dick.
just kidding he's right. especially with the making it harder than it is. i can understand getting as much info as possible, but you gotta get out there and start feeling her up.
why isn't your truck level? why'd you move it from where it was when you did your rear end? my lower control arms would drag before the crossmember would, they're pretty wrecked. i used to bust road dots left and right and my crossmember is pretty f*cked because of it. that and the whole bottom of the shit was all road rashed up that's why i put that new front clip on there.
i think immortal is pretty right on the money with how far everything hangs down below the frame and the proper removal technique

I met HeX0rz (Anthony) in person and got to see his truck in person. Its coming along really well, better then the pictures can tell. Hes going to most likely have to redo his rear bag mounts and I can relate to why he trying to get as much info to do the front so he doesn't have to redo anything there. Hope he doesn't mind me chiming in, and please correct me if i'm wrong Anthony. Thanks again for the seats and shock kit, and put those bag brackets I brought you to good use.

Thanks man! Its a mtivating thing to get approval from someone who's seen it personally! I think you are 100% correct on what you state as well!

Hope the seats will treat you well and the shock kit well serve you good!

I'm debating if I should get my lower link bars done by Seth, or do them myself. But I would have to wait till August for Seth at the earliest. As well doing them myself I might get lucky enough. But either I do them in square and cut the bracket or go round, but I'd need to be able to tap the bars. Hopefully I have a big enough tap for it, lol!

it doesn't have to be level but its a good general starting point - i like having everything level and plumb

I got a question, does anyone know whether or not I need to move the master clutch cylinder or the brake master cylinder/booster when tubbing? My OD wheel is going to be 26" Which is stock.. Just wondering if anyone knows off hand?

You should not have to. Didn't have to on the daughters truck.

body drop in the future? or not? plan it now and save yourself some work. i had to move my clutch m/c and the tire just almost kisses the booster, but i'm bd 3.5 inches

Lol, no BD. too much work for me and no purpose for me...

Hey guys, can anyone post up some pics of wheel tubs in the front?

I'm thinking about whether or not to cut out the whole wheel well or just patch in the tub with the existing...

Dev, I can't find yours!
