Wheel well cut out, but I feel it still is'nt up far enough?

I'm not sure if that shows good enough, but I'm wondering how you can tell if your BJ is binding up? I already pie cut the UCA.

UCA is hitting the wheel well and keeping it from traveling further up.

Cutting out little by little to fit the wheel. 'Am I right that I'll have issues when it comes to putting on some wider rims?

As you can see, to get more travel I've cut the crossmember portion down to allow the LCA to travel up further. I thought I actually cut quit a bit out of the LCA in the first place but when I jack the tire up it says otherwise...

I'm guessing that this actually going to require cutting out the whole wheel well and just put the tub in? I plan on using some wider rims...

What does everyone think so far?

^

Todd, "Just go for it!"

I would have to really figure out how the heck to remount everything so I could make the tubs themselves, work.

Unless I wanna spend a little time doing some metalwork and making a cover to fit for the engine bay...

i actually just cut the whole front end off and then trimmed everything up and was gonna weld the front back on with the tubs already installed

Looks good so far man. Cut the wheel well out while your working on it, made it easier for getting everything setup I thought

yeh i just cut little by little on the wheel well. you wont need to tub the fire wall. and it looks like you cut way to much out on the lca mount. you should have cut it flush with the frame. you should think about replating that to add some strength back in. because that pic that is looking up at the bottom of the frame looks very very unsafe.

Yah that def needs to be plated up before your all done.

I love how you guys emphasize each other.

Oh, trust me, EVERYTHING is getting plated up! I'm just working on getting the tub to fit right that way I know how far the wheel is gonna go so I can setup the bag brackets...

I guess I should just cut out the whole wheel well... I just don't like how it will be exposed on the side of the well!
Guess I gotta make sure to never drive it in the rain! lol!
