good stuff man. are you going to z it? id z it that 3/4 of an inch then your frame will lay and the x-member wont hold ya up. drop spindles will push your tires out.

Thanks for the comments guys! And LVNLO, its not gonna be movin anytime soon.. Its gettin the independent rear suspension, body drop and fe3 motor swap so it'll be in the garage a quick minute haha.

And Josh, that sounds like a good idea, I'll wait and see where it sits after I cut the firewall out and actually get the wheels I'm gonna run, and I'll probably Z it that much... I really don't want to run drop spindles, I like all stock stuff.. And the camber is SEXY

Ok, I'm postin this here too so maybe I can get some help...

Well i went out and played with the ball joints a lil and took some measurements... It was quite surprising actually. The lower ball joint is locking out and restricting the amount of lift i will be able to get. And the upper ball joint is restricting the drop.. obviously I guess. I measured the tip of the spindle at full lift and full drop and there was only 9 inches of travel... That really sucks. If I unbolted the upper ball joint, I got another 2.5" of travel up from the lower control arm. So I think I should reverse pie cut my uppers and I was thinkin bout puttin a couple washers under the outer 2 lower ball joint bolts to angle it up a lil and maybe get a lil more lift Here's a few pics to show you full lift and drop....

ok.. i messed with the lower ball joint and loosened the outer 2 bolts and got it to angle up and i can get 2 more inches of lift before it binds back up... I'm not sure if it'd effect the drop of the truck yet... I'm gonna go mess with that now..

This is the lower ball joint, it doesn't bind on the way up and still gets the same amount of drop with actually plenty of room left to travel up...

I'm gonna screw up the paint and weld these washers on and grind em and make em look like they're supposed to be there...

And the upper arm, i'm gonna reverse pie cut it so the ball joint won't bind up so early and maybe i can get a couple more inches of drop... well as much as the bag bracket will allow

Josh, your lower ball joint is facing the wrong way, you need to flip it so the threads are facing the ground!!
like this:

thats probably where your binding up issue is coming from
