I'm not even trying to poke at things. But I don't see how anyone is beating up on him on street source. Yes I do agree with you on how some people randomly post useless information such as the guy talking about getting the hacked up truck off the road.

But there are alot of very known fabricators that chimed in trying to help the situation, all with many years under there belt and installs. What stood out the most to me Josh, is the fact you keep saying " it looks like it will hold". "i've seen worse set ups than mine and they were fine". The actually setup isn't bad.........but it does have a very weak point as the only "true" gusset is the stock shock mount and your baby triangle shape mount. The amount of flex that big ass bag is gonna put on the whole mount will be pretty intense. I dont wanna see you make a thread saying, "oh shit it did break and I wrecked me truck"

I'm in no way trying to sound like father time, but you can easily fix the situation here and not have to worry about it just "looking good".

slammed83 I was not talking about the guys giving quality advice and photos I agree with most of them. I was talking about the rest of the idiots on SSM who feel the need to call his work hacked and throwing out their worthless opinions. For ever 1 guy who tries to give good advice 2 or 3 guys just act like dicks. MAZDABSCENE has not turned into SSM thankfully and I wanted let him know in a less hostile forum that he really does need to gusset his setup (hence I posted a photo of my setup with simple gussets) with out calling his setup hack or unnecessarily busting his ball. Its fine, I am used to people disliking my trucks... my s10 was a model of a well hated truck.. So I guess I'm not surprised at me already bein called a hack.. and the damn truck doesnt even have a running motor in it..

I understand that people feel a need to gusset it more, jus some people don't have much tact in sayin it. Or I jus took it the wrong way... And as far as there being well known fabricators etc... like I would know that??? I don't know any of these guys... I jus know they have a cool light bulb next to their name and a fancy ride in their signature... for all i know, they could be mr money bags and paid the shop down the street to do it and they jus wanna sound cool and degrade someones work cuz they have bigger rims or some shit... Like I said on SSM, I will gusset it more... I was postin a shit load of pics in here but I didn't get any feedback about more gussets bein needed, and this is a MAZDA forum... then I go to SSM and I was expecting smart ass responses, cuz thats what SSM is known for. So I jus took it the wrong way.. This is my first Mazda so I'll learn from all these broken frames and gusset mine properly...

i read the ssm post and alot of those guys are just trying to pass along some pointers theyve learned the hard way. yes there are deusche bags on SSM but thee is here to. its just a matter of weeding threw the usless posts and learning from the good ones , whithout getting butthurt in the process.

Ya. I'm on here alot more and I know who the good fab guys are and I know who knows their shit but on SSM, I don't ever get on there, I jus wanted to put some pics up on there too... I jus jumped to conclusions. Theres jus so many people on forums that think they know their shit and are completely wrong, ya know?? s10forum is a prime example of that. But I understand that the guys are jus tryin to help me out So i'll take thier advice and put a couple more gussets in... I jus gotta figure out a cool lookin way to do it

i dont see any gussets goin down....

neither do I, I see a gusset to the upper control arm pivot, but thats not the way it should be done. that is the piece that I, and others, were saying is going to want to bend towards the motor (inward). Throw some gussets going down from the bag plate to the frame. Aim them outward so they clear the bag.
