I have been planning to do that. I broke my camera last month. I really need a new one.

Got a new camera today...Nikon coolpics...75 bucks at wallyworld. At 3:00 I leave for the Southern California Mini Truck Council Run. The Howler is going to its first show! (even though it isn't "show quality" yet.) Now I can take picutres of my new work.

Well...I got two miles from my house and lost a heater hose. I had to drive the Dodge. Anyway, I did see a couple of cool trucks at Council Run and here are some new pics of my neon light. I haven't installed the neon ground effects yet. Maybe this week.

Looking good Rick! Sorry to hear about the heater hose

Still trying to figure out why you even need heater hoses or a heater core for that matter. Cali weather has GOT to be better than Iowa

Saw the show pics - very nice rides.

Looking forward to new pics of the Howler after you get the rest of the neon on cause ya know I'm a neon fanatic LOL

Thanks Linn, I had a good time anyway...well maybe we did need the heater. It got down to 49 at night and in shorts and a t-shirt, that's cold. LOL Yeah, I went to the gas station on my way out of town and I saw a big green puddle under my truck when I came out. I figured it wasn't me, then the temp gauge started creepin' up. I had to turn around and go home . I thought it would be an easy fix, but the hose was under the intake manifold. Guess I have a new project to work on.

With Halloween last week, I kinda took a break from the Howler. Last night I started looking for the coolant leak and found a ruptured hose under the intake runners. I don't know why mazda decided to put hose there, A hard line would have been easier to service. My big hands don't operate very well in a tight area like that. Now I need to find some 3/8" heater hose and I'll be back in business.

I changed the heater hoses yesterday. No more leaks.
