Update... So I realized I wasn't laying frame anymore. My rear upper bag mounts were welded too far down. I decided to redo those mounts today, so I got out the sawzall and cut them off. Flipped them over, welded them back in about 2" higher. They're now high enough to lay frame with a 27" tire (currently have a 25" tire).
I know... the air lines and wiring is a mess! I had it all squared away before I decided to redo everything! Just need to go back in and tie it all in place again.
Here's the deflated shot... The bags are not fully compressed, but I'm getting more lift than I will ever use, anyway. You can also see the crossmember I had to cut because of the driveshaft hitting it... I'll rebuild that one later this week.
This is 160 PSI... I am going to step down to a 145 PSI switch. The current 175 PSI switch is way more than I need.
But, we are laying frame. Yes, there's a tie down strap sitting in a strange place in the first photo.
Here's a quick vid of the rear... Shit's LOUD. Way louder than it seems in the video. And yes, it hops the rear off the ground . Suppose I'd better be careful if I hit the "up" while going down the road! And don't make fun of the automatic tonneau cover. I forgot to secure it!
