Today, I got all my 4 link tabs cut out and punched and ground smooth, and my lower link bars cut out. that's all.

All right. I'm back. I haven't been slacking on the truck, just slacking on the updates. The truck is sitting on all air now, laying frame with six inches of lift in the front and ten inches of lift in the rear on a triangulated reverse four link. I got the bed mostly bodydropped yesterday, and I will sheetmetal the walls with 10 gauge.

Your truck has positive camber now up front.. looks good though!, also on the tubular lowers, if your running bag on bar, I suggest gussetting those lower link bars they will bend over time.

Those lower link bars are not gonna bend, look how beef those things are, thats not a fbi 4 link. What I am concerned about that is your uppper bag mounts with no proper bracing on the top, those will bend over time, regardless of what amount of psi you put to them.

Granted this picture im showing you of this truck is a all around hack. But you can see were the upper plate was starting to fold upwords.

that positive camber isn't that bad considering the beefy tires. mine has positive camber when fully aired up to and not much negative when all the way down. it's looking good man.

Thanks for the heads up on the bag mounts, I'll gusset those suckers. I'm all about not doing things a second time. the lower bars are .25 wall. The tires have a little positive camber at full lift, but full lift is for cops and u-turns. Normal cruise will be 2-3". the rest of the travel from 5" to the ground has 1.5 negative.

That looks good. Def need to gusset those upper bag mounts like the others said.

10ga for the bed sides? are you kidding? that's like 1/8 plate. 16-18ga is plenty. and it won't weigh a ton!!
fattirebicycles   +1y
Yes, but there's nothing thinner than 10ga at work.
