Front mounts. It is kinda hard to see because there is kinda a lot going on in a small area. I have to be able to get in there with the welder, get a wrench on and be able to remove the nuts and bolts, the arm has to move up and down, and the cylinder needs to pivot. So this took a while to figure out.

Yepper, that's definitely sweet.

You have me wanting to re-do my mounts now.

Ha, you can tell how long some people have been in the scene sometimes. I got a PM from another member that was confused also.
Here is the explanation...
About 10 years ago, there was a yellow Mazda on the cover of Minitruckin mag. It was a standard cab with tri-spokes. That is the yellow truck that is posted. At the beggining of the thread there was mention of the old mazda on the cover of minitruckin with the tri-spokes. So I finally found a pic of it, and posted it. My truck is an extended cab, and is being painted black.
The tri-spokes you saw on SSM are the ones I have. They were a buddy of mines, and I got a good deal on them. When he offered me the wheels, it was originally for the 07 accord that I own. I didn't like the idea of them on a newer car, so I started looking for a Mazda because I always loved the old yellow one. I thought it would make a good fit. So I picked up the truck, then bought the wheels, and the project began.
Right now, I am not shaving anything on the truck except for the emblems and welding on a roll pan. So it leaves the door open for me to advance the truck later on, and maybe even paint it yellow. However, that is really not in the plans.

Sorry if the first part seems offensive... the part about how long in the scene. It isn't supposed to be.

Wait offense taken lol when you say how long in the scene are you talking about 15 years or not long enough lol..cause when i was reading this i was also on the phone so i was skimming and i thought i missed something lol. Anyways yes I been in the scene so long that i actually remember old school lol...I was just totally lost on the pics. I actually have those rims but they are only 16's so i am not going to put those on. But I do like the 20 and I think I saw 22's in them also. I cant wait to get another mazda down the road so I can build it,my first mazda back in the early 90's down in florida and I put hydros on that one. And it was the most fun i ever had. Then I owned a handful of mazdas through the years one static and one bagged which I swapped to hydros and I have had many others through the years...so I guess I been in the scene for a while lol

cool, well that apology went out to the guy that PM'd me also.

Yeah, the buddy of mine that originally bought them saw the 22" ones at a show. That is why he got them. The problem is he put them on his prelude, and they were just too big for it.
