I don't think so, it doesn't hang much lower than the oil pan, and I plan on trimming the bottom so it doesn't hang down at all. We were able to finagle some things around and we actually have quite a bit of room. Only real clearance issues are steering column and the a/c compressor getting a little tight with the frame.

Well been a while but we have made a tiny bit of progress

Here is the ground clearance we will have to the oil pan. This would be the actual ground if the front crossmember was laying on it.

Here is were it comes out in the front.

Clearance to the firewall. We could have slid it back maybe an inch but this is where it came out with the stock crossmember in the stock location.

All kinds of room there(sarc), main reason for the offset.

We got a stock manual transmission cross member. I used one of the stock holes and then drilled another for the wider spacing of the ford transmission mount. We wanted it offset a little for clearance.

Got all the factory mounts off and frame ground smooth.

Some tabs I drew up and had my Dad cut out on the laser at his work.

I got some bushings from suicide doors. The truck and the engine are metric, I didn't want the motor mount bolts to be standard. A metric bolt fit to loose in the sleeve so I took it to a machine shop I used to work at and the owner whipped a couple of these out for me for free.

They are just tacked in for now, my brother borrowed my welding helmet so I couldn't fully weld them in, at least without retina damage.
