any progress lately

allright, here's an update. i love when people post pics, i'm a whore, so.....

been doing a lot of small details to get the dash and column to fit nice and be removable, and make the door for the switches. other than that, i've been piling up some parts, i like new parts.

got some grant fillers from CanDo


....and some tail lights


these lights are a bit longer that i thought, here's a rough outline on the back


.........and my switch panel was delivered today






i had planned on using a credit card ignition, but the company has discontinued that item. shit. so i am thinking now i may go with that autolock starter button, still looking for something more unique than that.

been a while. slowly creeping forward.


i have most of the dash done, in primer, still needs some filler in a few spots, and the top.










here's the blinker / flasher /horn buttons on the side of the dash




made a couple brackets for the bumper / fender support




and these things, i guess inner fenders, no, braces / core support to firewall thingys




got the front fillers welded in and started toying with the grille bars, made a jig to bend the aluminum, maybe it will only take me 7 more rebuilds on that jig to get it right, close, but not right

man that dash turned out great. so fresh and so clean clean....lol love the simplicity of it.
