a little update

all loaded up and ready to get started

she's saggin a bit

engine bay looks a little empty

started cutting the firewall to make room for the engine

and the combo thats filling upi the gap

one of the motor mount

a lot of measuring. took all day just to get right where i wanted to be

and the mounts all tacked in

and inside the cab. i was able to fit it in there and i will be able to keep the stock bench seat.

and the engine is sitting on its own weight. mounts still need to be fully welded

there is about a half inch between the steering linkage and the oil pan

tomorrow the cab will be removed to finish welding the back wall and firewall. also we will modify the stock tranny x-member to work with the T5. and everything will be fully welded after its all meassured once again (cant never be too carefull).

but anyway enjoy the pics and heres a few of the one that inspires me.

thanx for the compliments

yeah i had it would be very dificult for me to accomplish this project without him or my family. i started doing this about to years ago with my old s10 but i gave up on that. now my entire family is pushing me to finish this one. so i will dedicate this project to my whole family and my girlfriend whos has been there for me and supports me through all of this.

oh yeah by the way the caprice wagon and the jeep behind it are both my dads. im trying to convince to cut the caprice and make it lay frame, maybe body

From one dad to another - that would be very cool!

Air ride for a full size Chevy should be pretty easy to do also. I think you need to twist his arm just a little harder LOL

well i convinced him to get it where it is right now. its got airlift dominators 2 2600 all the way around. its got hardwood floor to resemble a bowling alley theres a 32 inch tv in the back with the wii bowling game on it. its pretty damnn sweet. but it would look a lod better fully laid out
