project : about damn time

me and my pops started talking about getting him a old chevelle again and doing her up...if things work out right (not really planning on this but its a nice hope) we might build me a ride side by side together....I am the welder, dads the mathmetician on stuff.

I love your truck with the V8 in it...cant wait to see the final of it!

i feel very lucky that he helps me out. and encouraging me to finish my welding classes. im very glad to have him around

now for the updates
today i didnt get as much done as i wanted. it took for ever to get the engine and tranny in there but they are in fully welded and everything.

moved the cab to work on the tranny x-member


we were gonna use the entire x-member but ended up using the center only



the sides where lated cut off

engine mounts fully welded


and the craziest thing we've done so far

the engine x-member sits exactly 3" from the ground

well I didn't get to much done today but i did finish the back wall and the front frame horns and then it started raining. i was in a hurry to get the frame horns done that i kinda forgot to take pics but heres what i got.

yeah im trying to get him to put the tv in so i can take some pics. he made a mounting bracket for the tv so that he can take it off when not in show. as soon as he does i will snap some pics for you guys. i will also get some pics of it at full lift

today i didnt get much done worked on my dads jeep instead. hes going camping this weekend and needed to fix the top. but i did start on the bed and depending on the rain it should get done tomorrow
