nice truck you got there. do you have plans to bag it or lower it at all?

Yeah, I have lots of plans for this sucker. I have a set of 17" cadillac eskies. Im gonna put 215/40s on them. The smaller diameter will allow for an extra 2.3" drop. We've cut off the bump stops and are running 3" blocks minus a leaf in the back. We're gonna take out another leaf to just run mono. Sadly it's on a budget and bags are just too dang expensive. But when it's all done I'll be 6.25" off the ground at the door static.

nice. that will give it a very nice stance. should look sick when its done

Cool, thanks man. This is my first build (ever) and I'm really enjoying it. haha
When we first bought it we didn't even realize the potential this truck had because it was just for someone to get back and forth from work in. I'd never heard of mazdabscene or anything like that. Heck, I'm the only one in my hometown that even has one. Then when he gave it to me we got to looking and then we realized that people just LOVE to mod these things. It turns out they look awesome when they're slammed!

Got some bucket seats last week, for free! They came out of a little riced up toyota car that had been wrecked. They have been sitting outside in the rain for something like two years. And yeah, that's moss growing on them.

I cleaned them up with lots of purple power, some fabric cleaner and a pressure washer.

What's really cool is the dimensions match up really close to the stock mazda seats at the base so it shouldn't be too hard to put them in!

Ok, so I have one simple but pretty big question. Will red pearl in the clearcoat make a charcoal grey basecoat appear pink or look funny? There's always someone knowledgeable on this forum with good advise so, anybody?

wow dude, those seats cleaned up mint!

Truck looks good. I don't need why a red pearl would turn pink at all, there's no reason to. If anything, it'll look red still. Personally I think a silver flake over the charcoal would look sick.

Trucklooks like it's coming along well. I'd recommend 205/40s for your tires. Get ya even lower. That's what I ran on my Eskies and dropped my truck the same way and I had a few guys on here tell me mine was one of the best static drop stances they'd seen.

Here's a pic or two

I got 2nd place at the 2007 Canadian Truck Nats for Lowest Static Drop.

This was my 88 on 205/65/14s, dropped the same way as the green truck. They were both curb and speed bump scrapers.

mikey did you already get rid of the black/red two tone? isaacstyles92, your truck is looking good. i like the seats they came out lookin real schweet! i didnt expect so much color to come back to something that looked oh so faded...
