yeah, I traded it a few weeks ago for that silver 83, and I had that silver 83 for about 2 weeks before I got fed up with it and traded it for a Grand Am.

hey dude id recomend doing a spray out card 1st or a test panel to cheak the colour out. If you have never seen that colour before it would be the best way instead of painting it and finding out it does turn out pink, you'd be totally guttered. im still a second year apprentice vehicle refinisher (CAR PAINTER) and not to sure if it will turn it pink but a test panel would be the best bet!

Do you know what size those caps are? And what did you use to plug the 2 EGR hoses that came off the bottom of the stock header?

By EGR hoses do you mean those stainless steel pipes that ran from the catalytic converter? We just removed the old cat converter while removing all that other unnecessary emissions crap to get rid of all those pipes.

As for the hydraulic caps, you may have to give me a little while; I can get the size and part number in a day or two.

what i think hes asking is what did you do when you removed the tubes from where they connect to the header at the bottom.....

A picture is worth 1000 words...I removed the old catalytic converter that was attached to the manifold and replaced it with just straight exhaust pipe. The EGR hoses entered at the catalytic converter so when you take out the converter it also removes the pipes. Hope this helps.

In the pic you can see where the catalytic converter use to be before we replaced it with exhaust pipe.

there is no cat coverter attatched to the manifold.... its further down the exhause tube, usually closer to the middle or rear of the cab.....

^^^I thought there were two cuz i had a cat right off the manifold. and then another further down in the exhaust before the muffler

Mine had two, one attached to the manifold and one halfway down the line. Maybe model specific??? Someone else would be more knowledgeable than me there...
