I almost shaved it off. It would have been a lot easier to paint over that way. I may eventually get some kind of pinstripe outlining it or something, but I also kinda like the ghostly appearance.[/quote]


if you had shaved the stamped gate versus just replacing it with a gate that wasnt stamped that would have been a huge wasted of a mint condition stamped gate... sad sad way to go

How much you asking for the bed and fenders? And also what about those fender flares? Tailgate in good shape?

Thanks guys! So we rolled the lip around the front fender and sure enough, chipped the paint all along the edge. We're getting the same guy who painted it to completely finish rolling the lip and paint it again along the edges. Too bad we had to have this setback though.
