toddluck and 91extcab, I can save the brush guard if you want. Probably wouldn't be able to ship it, but it would be totally fine if someone wanted to drive up here and pick it up. I'll go pretty cheap on it. Looks like we've already got the engine/tranny sold on craigslist after 1 day. Those engines must be pretty popular.

So I stopped by the guys shop who is doing the wet sanding and buffing today and OMG! He had the top half finished and I don't believe I have seen anything any slicker. The reflections of the lights going cross the top looked like lasers; they were SO straight. It's turned out a whole lot better than what we anticipated. I get it back tomorrow, and will post pics as soon we get some sunny weather!

Sorry, guess I should have said this in the previous post:

I would, except it would cost probably close to $2000 to get it done again. lol Plus, I just don't have to materials, time, or know-how to do a bagged setup, which further negates the benefit. But, if anyone wants the sheet metal, I'll sell it.

Finally got it wet-sanded and buffed, and the guy did an amazing job. Absolute show quality work.

Also got the exhaust system on it. We used 2 1/4 inch pipe straight to the muffler. Probably will end up putting a glass-pack on it, because it's a little loud.

hey! truck is looking good! but... you got a stamped gate! highlight that sh!t! just accent it by painting the letters black or something... it's just blending in there

I almost shaved it off. It would have been a lot easier to paint over that way. I may eventually get some kind of pinstripe outlining it or something, but I also kinda like the ghostly appearance.
