thanks for checking it out
I dragged frame down my street today for the first time EVER! First time driving the truck in almost two years. just fine tuning a few things here, lotsof small things to do on the truck.

question

Bled my brakes until i had perfectly clean new fluid and no bubbles coming out of the lines. During the process i realized my drivers rear drum piston was leaking so i grabbed the part, swapped it out and re bled the entire system but my brakes are still spongy. I don't think I'm running the abs box in the rear or maybe its a proportioning valve? either way they should not be spongy. I am running a custom soft line from the female coupler at the rear of the cab across one of my link bars to the short soft line 1/3rd of the way down the axle. Any suggestions of why my brakes are still spongy and I'm still able to press them to the floor after bleeding the system?

could be the master going south.

picked up a new master, bench bled it, bled another 2L through the trucks and you still needed to pump 3 times for brake pressure. I drove the truck down the street and back to shake some air out and then bled them again and still more air came out of the system. I'm hoping there is just some more air trapped. Here are some more pictures, i just tossed my gauges close to the tank temporarily because i didn't have any 1/8th" plugs. Still not fully loomed and cleaned up but you get the idea.

looks good. how are you bleeding the brakes? and yes air in the system will cause squishy peddle.

That looks great!

Pretty clean looking setup you got going! Looking very nice now that things are getting assembled. As for the brake issue I am assuming all the fittings up around the master cylinder are tight and not sicking in some air (would probably see a leak otherwise). Also assuming you are starting at the furthest bleader from the master cylinder then working your way back. something I did for both of my trucks was to create a power bleader. I simply used an old master cylinder cap and drilled and threaded a male air fitting into the cap. Then connect the air compressor hose to the fitting to supply the pressure. Think I had the pressure regulator set for around 5-7psi. Thing is you have to keep checking the fluid level as you bleed out the fluid but you get the idea.

Hey guys thanks for following my thread! I'm pretty happy with how everything has been turning out and I'm glad I was able to contain the entire air system and fuel system within the frame rails. I have replaced the master cylinder and well as the drivers rear drum cylinder because it was leaking. I still seam to have air coming out of the rear bleed screw even after 2L of fluid but the fronts have been a consistent solid stream the entire time. Its been a long process bleeding the system and I guess I will have to keep at bleeding the rears until there is no longer any air escaping. Unfortunately before I drive the vehicle I will have to get it towed to the shop to get custom exhaust as well as a new windshield so it does not draw unwanted attention. Today I wired relays for my fuel pump, switch box power and the back lights on my 3 gauges. I also ran the lines for them. The truck is running great and just needs exhaust to quite it down. Check back soon for new pictures as well as a higher quality video. Hopefully I get some pressure back in my brakes after more bleeding, it seams never ending.

Hey guys i ran all of the 1/8th inch line for my gauges today and have just been tidying up some of the wiring with loom. Installed a new master cylinder as well as a new drivers drum piston and my brakes are still going to the floor after 2L of bleeding
