crazy high idle with weber
no vac leaks
no tension on linkage

where to start? Ive checked tuning guides
must get this figured out asap truck goes in for exhaust tomorrow morning

turned the two larger screws on the sides 1 complete turn and truck idles VERY rough. Is there a screw that determines just idle?
skrapinsask   +1y
theres 2 small brass screws
3 large brass screws
and the 2 silver spring loaded screws

idle screw that touches linkage is totally backed off

The choke isnt stuck open is it?

thanks for replying! It actually turned out to be the second linkage adjustment screw that is hidden under the electric choke.

Friday am I have rented a flat deck and am hauling the truck behind my daily to get custom exhaust done that tucks between the frame rails tight to cab so she still lays right out.

Cant wait to paint this truck!

Still no power to the brake lights or head lights
no power at the harness, bulb socket, fuse box in the cab and all under hood fuses are intact.rear harness grounds are new

Gotta be a relay then. Not sure where that relay is, but I'd start tapping all of them with the handle of a screwdriver.

BIG day today for the mazda , rented a trailer and towed it behind my daily to my guys at one of the best shops in town for custom exhaust with a stock muffler that tucks perfectly under the frame. I also picked up truck sport tonneau for a 2000 ranger, modified the mounts and it fits great. I also scored chrome interior door handles and 98% mint chrome window rim for $25 at the wrecker! still need to do a few things including paint but I'm very happy with where the truck is right now. Still need to get my brake lights and running lights working. COMMENT GUYS

Kick ass exhaust install! That cover looks great on there as well. Like you, can't wait to see this ride painted. Guess the next pic I am waiting to see is some rolling shots
