Thanks Linn. I think it's gonna work out great man haha. I have RE8s on all 4 corners so she should ride very smooth. I was hopeing to get the shocks installed this weekend but I don't have bolts or bushings. I thought the auto parts store would keep that stuff in stock but they had nothing Friday when I went by. So I will be installing those sometime this week. Still gotta make the tabs for them but that won't take long at all. I will be posting up more pics soon, just got her fully laid out all that is left is wiring up the valves.

Yeah it's pretty low. I will have to measure it later but if I had to guess I would say about 6" or more. I haven't even thought about that yet because I never plan on body dropping it hahaha. It's just my daily.

I replied earlier but I found out what you meant haha, I took the day off work today to fix it. The lower control arm is cast so I can't weld to it so I have to build a plate under the arm and do a bunch of crazy shit to make the mount solid. My only other option would be to build 1 off lower cotrol arms and that ain't happenen right now. hahaha

is it possible to stud off of the lower bag plate for the shock mounts? How is that lower mount working out for you? Does the bag stay pretty straight? Looks like the bag could bow out the side if the weight was taken off the control arms really quick? Im just throwing possibilities out here just concerning stability. Just wondering. Looks very nice in there though. wish we had that much room in our mazdas.

I got the lower mount idea from another guy off streetsource that did his this same way. I don't know if he has had any problems but I sure as hell did. hahaha. I tightened the hell out of the bolt and the driverside stayed good but the passenger side got jacked up so I had to do some crazy fabrication shit. haha. The lower control arms have 2 holes cut out of them on the inboard side so what I did was I made mounts that went under the control arm, then welded a mount on the back of the lower bag mount at an angle to rest on the control arm then through the holes that were cut out I welded braces from the plate under the control arm to the mount that I welded to the lower bag mount. That way the control arm was sandwiched between the mounts and every thing is solid as a rock now. I would just post pics but I don't have any yet and it's dark outside. haha, I worked my ass off all day to get it done so I can drive it to work tomorrow...skipped work today hahaha.
