Btw. Hood definately doesnt shut. Will be pullin the studs and replacing them with a longer bolt spacer combo tommorow to raise the back up.

You're right, I need all the help I can get..lol. Hope things go well for you today. The weather here has turned to crap again, so it my be a day or two before I can get mine in the truck.

So i got snowed out. I really dont ming being out in it but im pretty sure the engine doesnt like all its holes filled with water so i took a break. Gonna eat some food and see if the snow goes away. This is frustrating. Not to mention i got a latr start today so not much got done. Heres what i did.

Lets see. Today i put the tranny in, Drive shaft, braces, flywheel cover etc thats all back in. Um. Put new plugs in, painted the grill. Got the hood drilled, tapped, and the spacer deals in. Not sure if i like how they are might swich them out for something different. Started to put the harness in till it started getting really wet. And i left all the bolts for the alt and ac at work so im s.o.l. With that till monday.
With the tranny a bolted in etc it looks like i may be able to actually run the clutch fan after all as the motor rocked way back. However the space behind the motor is gone so the hoses just got alot more fun. If it doesnt clear up today i may go in late tomorrow so i can do a bit then i should be off tuesday which is supposed to be snowy too. But as the weathers gone so far its been opposite of the report so maybe

I don't know what part of the country you're in, but March in Kentucky sucks..lol. I'm scheduled off Tuesday and Wednesday but the weather for the rest of the week looks sucky to, hope they're wrong.

Im in kc,mo. I dont know what the weathers normally like here. I just moved here from the left coast. Damn i wish i had two days in a row off to work on this thing. You'll prolly pass me by. Hopefully its somewhat clear this week i want to get this thing done!

And thanks on the grill.silver was kinda tricky to make look good from a spray can but it turned out nice. Decided what im painting the truck too soon as it warms up

Awesome! Congrats! Ive been lazy the past couple days. I have to extend a couple plugs, then do the fuel pump on then im done except for the exhaust which i will do when i take it to work. Then its writeup time. U should send me a pic of yours! Oh and how much do you love the clearance between the head and the firewall?
