wow thank you very much for that info. you wouldn't happen to have the contact info for that seller or the guy who bought it would you? do you know anything about the tank?

actually i just looked and i found one but it says it doesn't fit a 90-91 b2600i. but fits a 89. i thought they were the same.

ya i found that too. i'm taking to the seller but they are not very helpful. im actually talking to bother sellers and the one with the 17 gal. tank is being very helpful but his tank is smaller and more expensive. he said he would price match but both items have to be the same :/
the 19 gal is only $84.

also, the 17 gal. tank is made by Silla. anyone know anything about that company and its quality?

ok. now i'm confused. when my gauge reads empty i fill up about 10 gal. so i figured my tank is only 10 gallons. i looked on rockauto (much more reliable then ebay) and they are selling the same 17 gallon tank for 105. what size is the stock b2600i cab plus tank? do i already have a 17 gal tank and a bad gauge or something?

also, i took a look under my truck and it doesn't look like there's much room for a larger tank where the stock tank goes. you only have a couple inches behind and to the side of the tank. so confused :/

I would hate to order one of these tanks and it be for a regular cab or something... Especially since the seller for the one isn't being very helpful lol

The reg cab tank is the rectangle one and the ex cab one is the one with the low spot. I checked my chilton book and it says the tank holds 14.x gallons, do you know how much yours holds? I've run my tank down to where the needle is passed E and still only filled up about 10 gallons. So first I'd like to see how big my tank really is so I know if it's worth getting or not.

filled up to dumping out of the nozzle is something like 14.329 gallons? Not sure i'll have to check my receipt lol

I found a fuel tank from oreilly auto parts. part# f26d that going off of the dimensions it should fit under the bed where the spare tire goes. Extra bonus, it has a 38 gallon capacity!!! That, coupled with part# sp383h(fuel sending unit with pump), should work out perfect for those wanting a larger tank and are not afraid of losing the spare tire mount.
