That's a lot of turbo for your little tiny engine to spool up. Are you sure you aren't just adding weight to the engine?

I can boost 11psi under 5500 rpms no problem. the links that anguswilly posted of the 400hp car is running the same turbo pushing 25+psi

I understand the engine might handle the boost. However, I question the engine's ability to provide enough exhaust to drive the turbo. The Cummins engine is nearly 3 times the displacement.

it seems fine, it starts to spool around 3300 rpms and has full boost by 4800 or so. alot of the dsm guys run them due to the high boost capability. i can tell that 11psi on the holset is a very big difference to 11psi on the ihi.

Looking good. I would also like to see pictures of how it sits in the engine bay.

That turbo is a little large, if you are not spooling below 3300 then you are losing out on a bit of the F2's power band.

However it is not too crazy if you add a cam to rev it higher you'll be good.

You also could gain some spool with a 3" DP - you can easily make the bend if you use short radius u-bend instead of trying to bed on a pipe bender.

been having some lifter noise lately so I pulled the rocker assembly off to find #1 cylinder intake lifter to be completely collapsed with no resistance at all. and #4 cylinder exhaust lifter to be completely solid with no give and has some pretty bad wear on it.

replaced the 2 lifters and now have a nice smooth and tick free engine.

I also added a 3/8" return line from my regulator back to the tank. I was having some fuel pressure creep at idle and this fixed the problem. I now have a steady 6psi at idle no problem. before the return it would jump between 5/9 psi at idle. it also helped my throttle response and I am now building boost at around 2700rpm. my guess is it was flooding the engine and took longer to burn the excess fuel out of the system.
