So ive got my weber carb today.. and now just trying to gather up parts to make this work. I see in the directions you should have a fuel regulator set at 3lbs or below? What did you guys use on your setup. And Ive never used one of these, would it be wise to get a gauge to set beside it to know exactly what its running?

what else would I need to buy to make this go smooth as possible? This is my only vehicle and I need to get to work with it. Gasket sealer? Etc.

I had just bought my truck a few days ago, and now it wont start. Im not very machnicaly inclined so I was wondering if someone can kinda help me out? Its an 87 B2000 all bagged out great truck got it for $1900, it ran fine I drove it from Cali to AZ an now wont start. Can anybody help me out in finding a new motor, I would like to go with somethin a little faster, but i also dont want to spend a million dollars either.

Might be better off making your own thread. THREAD JACKER!

But anyhow .. I will run without it. So did you guys use thread locker? And gasket sealer on yours?

paparoach1983   +1y
choke goes to any keyed on acc man

I thought there was a more exact location, but if thats how its wired, I did it that way already. Thanks for the help!

your questions have been beaten to death in some of the other weber threads. imma save face and go ahead and tell you..........

does your truck have a machnical fuel pump (located near the firewall next to the intake mani on the block)
or does it have a fuel pump (near the fuel tank)

if its machnical pump you can hook it straight up to the carb. if its got electric fuel pump you will need regulator. electric for choke hooks to the tab on the back/bottom plug on the alt.
