Got my cheap ebay stainless header in today, for the price its actually pretty good. Nice bends, but sugared welds. Guess they don't bother with back purging in china. Anyway ill have to clearance the motor mount a little to get it to fit. Ill also weld the inside of the ports at the flange and port match it better. Pics tomorrow.

not bad for 95$ to my door.

Ill be welding up these crummy ports and port match them to the head, so no big deal.

Not bad at all and for the little work you need to do to make them perfect that was a great buy.

Yep they will work just fine while the motor is NA.

Ill be building a custom top mount turbo manifold sometime down the road.

I like the header, you might want to consider a remote mounted turbo system. You could mount it where the muffler goes. It would be easier to fab and be pretty slick hidden under the bed

Ive never ever been a fan of remote mount turbos. It goes against all logic of efficiency. The further the turbo is from the head the less efficient. The more intercooler tubing there is the more pressure drop there is. Plus you have to worry about a separate pump for the oil return, that could fail.

It works for people, I just dont like it. Plus I like to fabricate.

that exhaust looks badass man. But i am curious if it will discolorate when ran

Ya it will discolor. I dont care though. I have heat wrap but im not sure if Im going to ceramic coat it or wrap it.

more work on the notches.

modified the motor mount to fit the header. Ill have to modify the header some to clear the torsion bar.
