what front end are you going with if your using your bumper mounts for the front end
slowroller   +1y
Datsun pickup grill and a 4runner bumper. Ill also be building a tube front bumper because im sure this thing will end up in a ditch at some point.

Really looking good man. Thought about quick clip pins instead of bolts? Seems like there will be just as many bolts to take it all of than a factory setup. Minus the inner fenders ofcourse. Do you have any more pics of the Vdub now that its hammered?

Ill stick with good ole bolts. There will be 2 more frame attachment points since the cab mount is not very strong. Id like for this front clip to be a little stronger than the sheetmetal setup. Ill wind up hitting something eventually.

This is the last picture of the golf before I toatled it. thats about half an inch between the crossmember and the asphalt. that was my daily driven ride height at around 50 miles a day. Unfortunatly i hit a man hole cover the other week and destrowed the subframe. Ill be building a new one once I get this truck on the road and I can move the vw to the workshop.
