B2000 drift truck build

Any updates? Looking like a great build. I'm interested in your results on lightening those wheels up. I have had the idea floating around in my mind to throw my QX4 wheels on the mill and face mill the face of them to shed a little weight and change the look of them. I wanted to get rid of the little "lip" that is used for the wheel weights and flatten out some curved areas on the face of the spokes as well. I figured weight rating wouldn't be a big issue since they were OEM on a vehicle with a curb weight 1600lbs heavier than the B anyway.

I wonder if he is ok. It has been a while...

Yes, I did think it was quite a coincidence that he quit posting right after the tornado hit.

Hopefully, he just went on to his other project, and let the truck sit.

Ya guys im ok. Ive been super busy lately. No progress on the truck but ill post up some pics of everything else ive been doing. Oh and the truck will be getting a nissan vq35 with some sort of forced induction in the future.

so i decided to blow the dust off of my truck and give it a little attention. Got the upper 2 radiator rubber mounts tacked into place. Looks like ill have enough room for a decent sized intercooler and a crach bar behind the bumper.

Glad to see you're giving her some attention. The quality of your welds just make me mad, lol!
