B2000 drift truck build

Just gorgeous! As a beginner welder, I just get excited when I see something like this. I just got my first little welder (Hobart handler 140), and am teaching myself how to weld. Now I look for excuses to weld stuff
One day I'll graduate to a nice TIG like yours.

Thank you. Ill let you in on a little secret. I use my cheap tig and mig 98% of the time. I got a 200 amp tig welder and a 130 amp mig from eastwood for 1063$ shipped to my door. They both have a 3 year warranty. I built that exhaust with the tig. The welder I have at home is about 800lbs. This little one is about 40lbs. And it will run off 110 or 220v. So far I'm very impressed with them.

what do you do with all the parts you try and then don't use? You sell them or just keep them for spares?

Thanks for the tip man! I will be going to the local community college for a welding program as a gift to myself. As soon as I'm done I'll buy me a TIG. I was thinking about a Hobart since I like my little MIG so much, but if the one you bought from Eastwood is good for you, I'm sure it will more than good enough for me.

I'd like to know what the numbers of those wheels are...great fit. I got a set of 17x9's I haven't bolted up yet. Scared to see how much poke I'm going to have to tame!
