Project: Lil Red (Bagged & V8 88' B2200)

I like the recent progress on the interior, the carpet, the seats, door panels... it's coming together great. Would you reccomend the peal & seal? I spent over $250 for some thin crap from Second Skin and I feel I got ripped off so this may be a good deal for the money saved if it works ok. Is there any smell left in the cab from it?

ive heard of people using some kind of rubberized sealer spray and covering the whole peel and seal area with it to keep smells down... most people havent had a problem but there are a few cases where it smells. i plan to use this same product whenever i get around to it! as always truck looks good Mike! I wish i was closer so i could see it in person...

I did not notice any smell whatsoever while I was installing the peel & seal. I can't really comment on how well it works yet without having the truck on the road, but so far I am satisfied with the price and quality.
I watched a few YouTube videos about it and comparison with the other brands. Seems to be just as good. I'm using it more for road noise, keeping heat out, and dampering the sound of the exhaust in the cab.

I've been busy tracking down a pesky wiring gremlin on the truck. I had some corroded connectors and I had to switch some wires around, but I finally got all the LED's installed and working correctly. Now I'm just waiting for the HID lighting kit to come in the mail and I'll put those in the headlights.

What did you use for the corner bulbs? And the tails? Looks really bright!

Tails are stock filament bulbs. Reverse lights, turn signals, and corner markers are all LEDs from superbrightleds.com

You got a part number or link? Looks good I'm thinking of swapping my turn signals to my corners and I would like some led bulbs. Do they sell led talight bulbs? Thanks for the info man!

They sell it all. And they have a cross reference chart to look up B-series bulbs. The website is very easy to use. I bought all cool white colors because they will match my 6000k HID headlights.

If your corner bulbs don't work at first, just swap the positive and negative wires. I had to do that on mine.
