Got my exhaust tacked together last night and got the wastegate pipe cut. Had to notch and reinforce both x members to get that 3 inch to tuck above the frame.

Coming along nicely!

Some days things roll along very smooth and others like tonight I spent an hour and a half figuring out where to run the wastegate pipe and put the o2 sensor. Got it mocked up ready to weld tomorrow

Since I relocated the wire harness my hood release cable was too short. Found some stuff called picture wire at the hardware store that's very similar to the wire used inside the cable. So carefully welded the wire to the old handle (took like a dozen tries to not destroy the wire) then ran the new wire inside the old cable. I got the end from another cable at the junkyard and attached it to my cable using 2 electrical connector I soldered together. All the connector has to do is keep the 2 cables together and i probably could have wrapped it with tape and been fine.

Looking good man! How much more is left before she's ready to hit the street?

Still need to finish welding up holes in the engine bay and paint it. Install the rx7 LSD and fuel pump then put at all back together.

Been a minute since I updated this so here we go. Got the engine bay painted last weekend and have been hitting it hard this week getting it all back together. Tonight I hope to have radiator, intercooler and o2 sensor wires ran. Next week will be install the rx7 LSD, finish the bed floor and hopefully start it up for the first time
