And, dang it I guess I , again, pushed him too far helping me work on Stranger.

It was horrible. Totally ruined the Halloween party.

lol scary Halloween costume there! yes there is a good 'body panel' double sided tape. if you are still having issues, just scuff up the areas that you want to stick together and then add the tape, or windshield urethane if you never want it off ever again...

Someone also recommended this as well.

I had Rob come by and help me move the bed. Man did that thing feel heavy.

My bed is almost totally gutted, except where it mounts to the frame. I wonder what these beds weigh?

I know there was a guy who made fiberglass beds for small mainstream trucks, Rangers, S10's, Dakota's, and even some Toyota's. I think they ran about 3k, but man if I had the dough.

Anyone ever weigh their truck bed?

WOW.......

That is probably the coolest motor I have ever seen in a Mazda truck! and mine was pretty cool for what it was lol. Now I get a much better idea of how your twin turbos are connected to the engine. Question, what is the item above the engine, near the firewall with the filter on it? Does it have something to do with a blow off valve?

p.s. even the wife said wow.

Thanks guys, its kinda a let down that not many people but you guys are interested in this. Thanks again for the complements.

The blue thing at the back of the engine with the breather is part of a vent system. There are two hoses going into the valve covers, from the catch can. I also ran the drain valve on the catch can back into the oil dipstick tube so I don't have to worry about draining it.

One valve cover is block off with a twist cap, the other side is a closed breather cap with a hose {connected to a check valve} that is welded to the exhaust pipe. Since I don't have mufflers it pulls pretty good vacuum.

Wow! That engine is beautiful! I love the blue and gray so much better than the yellow. I can't wait to see what kind of numbers you turn out of that beast.
