Actually its already done. I just cut the bushing, so that the two cone washers were tight on the rod end, not allowing movement from side to side.

I think you can see them in this pic, they run from the top of the rear end towards a brace behind the cab.

Well the turbo kits came in today so I was able to get busy working.

The price was good enough so that i went ahead, and bought a kit for both turbo's, and got the upgrade to a 360 deg thrust bearing.

I've built quite a few of these over the years, and the only really tricky part is to mark the impeller to the shaft so that you don't go off the balance.

I know this is debatable, but I like I said I have been building these for years, and have had zero problems.

Y didnt u clock your turbos and cut back on intercooler piping?

Well, they were clocked the first time so all I really want to do is move the driver side center section down just a bit so the oil will drain faster.

I will have to cut the home made aluminum turbo mount tomorrow so that I will have room to move the drain pipe.

I finished getting them built today, and hit them with a little paint.

Pretty sharp looking. Refresh my poor memory, why did the turbo's need to be rebuilt? I remember something a while back about the turbo's but just could not remember what was wrong with them.

Your flex section in the exhaust pipe is a great idea given that your turbo's are solid mounted.

Knowing very little about turbo chargers, I assume the larger fitting on the turbo is an oil drain and somewhere is an oil supply for the bearings? Are you running the engine oil to the turbo's or do you have a separate oiling system for them?

Yes its an oil drain on the large AN fitting.

It is oiled by the engine oil, and has a Weldon pump for the return.

The reason for the rebuild was that the driver side turbo was seeping oil just a bit. I didn't want to have to pull it after the bed was on so I did it now.

Also, since I did one, I might as well do the other, which I did.

I figure that since its a remote setup, that it will serve to cool the engine oil as it goes from front to rear, of the truck.

Also, I had a blown oil seal on the driver side turbo, so I just decided to build the other one before I put the bed on.
