Hello everyone!

I decided to change the direction of my project. When I finally priced everything I needed to have a good running rotary engine that would make the power I want, I found out that going rotary would cost an arm and a leg (although supe cool). So all my rotary stuff is going for sale.

So this is what I've been doing recently:

Thanks Jenko. I actually thought of doing the RB swap before the rotary (I used to be a Nissan head), but wasn't sure it would fit. I got encouraged to go ahead after seeing pictures of your fellow man's truck Phatmike

Minor update:

Cut off the engine mount towers and put the engine back in for the final mock-up.

Over all pretty happy with how it looks.

This is the pinch point, not bad. I had to remove the oem turbo heat shield:

I made a point off "clocking" the engine as it sits in the R32's bay, that's why it sits so close to the steering column. I wonder if I could replace this rubber bushing assembly with a spline tube of some sort. Any suggestions?

The engine bay looks pretty clean. I will remove/relocate what I can to the bed in order to try and balance the truck. Radiator and battery will be installed there. On the front, only AC condenser and intercooler. I'm still debating on keeping the AC, but it sure would be nice.

The transmission will not be a problem and the exhaust downpipe is pretty much in the ideal place!

The B2600i hood helped make everything fit like factory. I'm loving it.

And this is how it is right now. The day got hot, I got lazy... Opened up a cold beer and just stared at it for a good hour...

gona be a bad ass truck man I like it alot... can't wait to see it done and running.. Got to make a video..

Thanks man! I promise I will make a video of my first drift event on this truck. Last time I drifted for real was way too long ago: Formula D Pro-Am finals in Arizona (2007). I can't wait to drift again.

It will take me a while though. After I finish physically fitting the engine, I'll start doing the rear. I still have the RX7 I bought for the initial idea and I'll be transplanting the IRS from the car into the truck. That will make necessary many other mods such as 5 lug conversion for the front (possibly with a big brake kit), fuel cell and the list goes on. I have the picture of it imbedded in my head and I just hope to be able to make real
