Bonus, ALL the power windows work. Sunroof doesn't leak.

Needs:
Needs windshield, fix fuel line leak. The self leveling suspension needs to be rebuilt (anyone ever hear about rebuildable shocks???) MAJOR need for a tune-up, shifter has some slop (new bushing maybe?) The MB logo on the hood needs to be replaced (stolen,) needs new belt tensioner and belt (anyone ever hear of an electric fan clutch?) likely a new alternator, headlight housings, PAINT!

Also gonna do a compression check to make sure I don't have a HG leak.

Looks like a fun project, I see Mercedes parts in your yard in the near future

Oh, I already named this car too. The name is Andy-Rice. Andrew was the one that left me this car, and he hated 'ricers.' I first was pondering naming this car 'The Anti-Rice,' then Jessica recommended "Andy-Rice." I liked it

Thanks for the support Baha

What are the stock performance specs on it?

Well I did some more research and fond I might have been wrong on the power spec.

Data for MERCEDES-BENZ 190 E 2.3-16 cat., manufactured or sold in 1986, version for Europe (up to September) with 4-door sedan body type, RWD (rear-wheel drive) and manual 5-speed gearbox. Basic specs and characteristics:
petrol (gasoline) engine of 2299 cm3 / 140.4 cui displacement with advertised power 168 hp / 5800 and 162 lb-ft / 4750 .
Dimensions: this model outside length is 4430 mm / 174.4 in, it

Oh wow...
Well, here I go...
Try not to abuse me... (I'm on the jagged edge of sanity with all the projects in my life)
I am a Mercedes tech at Mercedes Benz of Buckhead. The 190 16V, as you seem to be aware, are VERY popular cars for MB enthusiasts. One of the projects I mentioned above is a Darin mark IV racer with a 16V in it, ITB's, dry sump, etc. (It will be dyno'd before the Mitty at Road Atl. and they're looking for 300 at the wheels) I'm rebuilding the body on it. There are currently 2 at the shop that belong to other techs.
I stay away from anything made before 2000 as far as work goes but, I can be a good source of info for you and probably some discounted parts (which makes them "really expensive" instead of "insanely expensive"...welcome to German engineering...)
I'll start by asking tomorrow about the suspension...
My name is Mike, I'm sure we will meet sometime soon

Cool, another Mike that is within driving distance to where I am at. I live just up Hwy 9 in Roswell. And, my name is also Michael. I'm sure that we are going to be having fun with that one, lol!

For what I can tell, I seem to need only a minimal amount of parts for this car. I know that I need a new drive belt and a new tensioner at the very least, and a fuel cap.

Nice looking find Emjay.

Are you gonna do the Kia FE3 swap?
