did you happen to say what a arms you went with ? also why do most mazdas sit up about an inch in front ? is the cross member hitting or the bad needs to be recessed into lower arm ? do new a arms solve this ? thanks

Looks great!

They are Cando arms on this truck and yes the crossmember lays before the frame in the front but not much more than 1/4" on this truck and you dont have to recess the bag into the frame unless your going with a 7" bag, custom arms help with bag clearances but they arent necessary.

Also thanks for the compliments guys, it helps the motivation.

You dont have to recess the bag, but i suggest it no matter the size of bag.

We got a kick out of this today, The truck is deffinately stripped haha. The frame horns are dropped and we gotta do a few more welds to the bottom side of the frame then we will mediablast and paint it black and the suspension silver. Hopefully we will get most of it done this weekend.

Keep working. I tore mine down to the frame also. Alot of work, but when you finish it you will be glad you did.

Looks good dude. Your thread is one of the reasons I bought a Mazda. Check out my thread I started.

I plan to notch my frame in the front to hopefully get enough lift to clear 20's. I would have bought 7" bags but I came across a set of 6" bags for cheap. I'll get some 7's if I have to.

The frame is painted finally. It turned out pretty good, all the suspension parts will be painted next then we can start bolting everything back on.
We also added more gussets to the front bag mounts to beef them up some more
