Yes most excellent

Thank you guys, complements on the work is much appreciated.
We have the drivers side close to done. We've been working on it a couple of hours a night, a few times a week but we're making progress. Hopefully i'll have something picture worthy in the next day or 2.

Well the bags are 90% done, I still want to run a tube from the bag cups to the link crossmember to connect them from side to side and upgrade the 6" slams to 7" slams but that will have to wait until my brother can afford to buy them unless anybody wants to trade a pair of 6's for 7's by chance?

Heres a quick video I took just to show the suspension cycle. The air leak you hear is from my air chuck hitting the ground and coming apart... cheap made in china crap I swear.
It all seems to be working great so far from what I can tell.

nicely done!! didn't see hardly any pinion angle change through cycle. what size valves and lines you plan on running?

I was suprised to see hardly any pinion change as well. I think it has alot to do with the way the link bars are all the same length and mounted like so.
He's got 3/8" SMC valves and will be running 1/2" air line front and back... Would probably run smaller but since we already have a whole bunch of 1/2" fittings he will save some coin that way. Hopefully we will make more progress tonite and we're starting to look for another cab since this one will be more work to repair it than just to replace it.

Very nicely done sir. From my experience the biggest impact on pinion change is the vertical distance between the lower and upper link mounts on the axle relative to the frame. As long as the distance was shorter on the frame than the axle the pinion was where it should be. I forget the equation but you've probably seen the drawings before.

Can't wait to see more, this is a really clean build.

Thanks Rob.

Tonight we cut the bed floor out to see how it looks on the truck. The link crossmember is stopping the bed from going forward in the pic but when that part is cut out the wheels should be fairly centered in the wheel wells.
The mismatched colors are really not doing this truck any justice!

And a pic of the detail in the wheels

Finally the rear suspension is done. Just gotta crawl under the truck and weld the undersides and the shock tabs in place.
What do you guys think? I know it's a little different than your basic bag on bar but we like it and it will be strong. I also go the spikes fit into the upper link bars, they really made the bars look nice in person, though in the pic only the left side is in place.
We gotta do some piddly stuff like mounting the compressors and plumbing everything but the next big project is body dropping the bed and we will have to wait to BD the cab until we can find a replacement because this one has some bad rust on the back wall. Anyway, heres the pics...

Looks great.

The rust on the back of the cab wall doesn't look that bad. You're going to look for a whole new cab because of that? I'd try to just cut it out and repair it.
