I am going to use the LHD power steering box on the right side. Since I have to make the drag link anyway the loaction won't matter much. It will interfere with the engine as of now but when I widen the mounting area back out a little it will clear.

I would use a RHD box if it were power.

Sorry guys been busy. I went on a cruise in late September and I have been behind at work since then. Plus I am working on building a shipping room/building at my shop. I am also building my shop trying to beat the cold weather.

I did get the plasma cut parts in recently. I got the pieces for the frame braces, the watts link, the motor/frame mounts, the tabs for the 4 link, the watts link etc. I also got all the pieces cut for the fuel tank. I really need to build the tank an install it.

Next step will be to remove the oilpan from the FE3 and mod it. I have the new motor mounts from the parts store and I got pieces plasma cut to make the frame mounts for the motor. I plan to set the motor and trans in till the trans pan is 1/2" off the ground and then make the motor mounts fit there. Then fab the lower portion of the oil pan to make it work.

I may have mentioned I will have to widen the frame forward of the control arms for the steering to work on the right side. More to come.

ive been readin about the rhd conversion and would like to do it can someone explaing in detail the pedal modifications that need to be made

I have not done the pedal mods on a factory cab. On mine I made the entire body and floor and mine came up through the floor. On this one they will most likely be through the floor again.

But for someone to do this to a factory cab I suggest pulling the dash to get good access to the metal behind it. Then you can see what it will take to add it to the right side.
